IMPORTANT INFORMATION
AIRPORT SHUTTLES – All four hotels that we have set up room blocks for are providing free shuttles to/from the BWI Airport.
HOTEL FREE BREAKFAST – Three of the four hotels that we have set up room blocks for are providing a free breakfast.
DISCORD – On the Pete McDevitt Show Discord Server, there is a private meetup page for only those attending. THIS WILL BE THE PRIMARY MEANS OF COMMUNICATION TO GET ANNOUNCEMENTS OUT TO YOU. Please use this message board to connect with others to make plans for the weekend. It will also be the best way to contact everyone the weekend of the meetup. If you are not in Discord, contact Pete and he can add you. We can help you to set up your notifications so that you receive notifications for only the meetup group, and not everything in the discord server.
TRANSPORTATION – It is your responsibility to find/attain transportation to/from all events. We encourage those in need of transportation to utilize the Discord Message Board or another direct message format to find a person to carpool with.
ORIOLES GAME BUS – A bus will be provided to pick-up and drop-off from three hotel locations. Bus timing and hotel locations will be advised by August 1st. This is included in the cost of the game. You will not need to buy parking passes if you choose to ride the bus.
ORIOLES PARKING PASS – If you choose to drive yourself and not use the bus provided, you will need to purchase a parking pass ahead of time. The parking lots will not allow you to pay when you get there. See the Orioles Game section in the "Schedule of Events" page for more information.
CASH BAR – The Saturday Cocktail Party, for legal reasons, is a cash bar. Credit/Debit Cards will be accepted. Soft drinks, tea and coffee are included at no extra charge. Don’t forget to tip your bartender accordingly. Please drink responsibly.
CASH FOR FOOD/TIP – There will be three meals (Yard House, El Guapo, and State Fare) where you will be responsible for paying your own check at the restaurant. These restaurants are going to want one or two checks only for our entire group. Please bring enough cash to cover your meals. A 20% tip is expected for large groups. Please ensure this isn’t missed.
DRESS CODE – All events are casual. For the cocktail party, it has been tradition at the past meetups to dress dinner party casual (Men: polos/button down shirts, Women: casual dresses/skirts). Baltimore in August is hot. Plan accordingly. This year for the cocktail party, we have added a feature of "Cosplay" which is essentially "Disney Bounding" as a character. We hope you will choose to join in the fun!
FOOD ALLERGIES – It will be your responsibility to notify the locations of any allergies or special diets that you have. Financial responsibility will fall to you for any special requests.
GROUP PICTURE – At the Saturday cocktail party, we will be taking a group picture. Please be on time - and bring your smile! Due to the timing of the evening, we will not be able to wait for late-comers to be included in the photo.
SOCIAL MEDIA CORNER – At the Saturday cocktail party, there will be a decorated spot set up with lighting to take and share social media content. Thank you to Casey’s Corner of the World for their sponsorship.
DOOR PRIZES – We have been blessed in years past that most if not all the attendees have won door prizes. It will be your responsibility to transport your prizes. Don’t forget to pack a bag to take yours home!
